Human-Centered Leadership Basics

How leaders show up and how it affects others

Why this workshop exists


Most leadership challenges are not about strategy or tools. They are about how people show up with each other, especially under pressure or uncertainty.
This session introduces simple emotional and relational awareness in a way that feels accessible and grounded.

People learn how their behaviour shapes trust, tone, and connection. They also learn early signs that they are activated, overwhelmed, or slipping into familiar patterns like shutting down or overexplaining.

The focus is steady and supportive. There is no clinical language and no heavy emotional work. The session offers practical awareness and small shifts that make daily interactions feel easier.


What this workshop covers

Participants learn:

  • What human-centered leadership looks like in daily work
  • How small behaviours influence trust and team tone
  • How nervous system responses affect how they show up
  • Early patterns like shutting down, withdrawing, or overexplaining
  • How values support steadier presence during stress

Everything is simple, grounded, and tied to real situations.

How we work in the session

The pace is calm and the structure is clear. A typical session includes:

  • A quick values check-in
  • A plain-language look at human-centered leadership
  • Noticing early emotional or physical cues
  • A short pausing or grounding practice
  • Small-group reflection
  • One human-centered behaviour to practice

There is no role play, no forced sharing, and no pressure to be vulnerable.

Investment

  • Online: $1,500 per session, up to 10 participants
  • In person: $2,000 per session, plus travel
